G&B's specialized Power Infrastructure & Renewable Energy (PIRE) business has set benchmarks in capacity, complexity and speed of execution. With strong Engineering Capabilities and competent Project Management team spread across various States, PIRE is poised to play an active role in Power transmission and Renewable space. As one of the prime players in the T&D Segment, PIRE is at the forefront of constructing high quality transmission networks including Substations (both AIS & GIS) and Transmission lines up to 765kV. The comprehensive services include complete Design and Engineering of Substations/Transmission Lines, procurement and timely delivery of equipment at site, civil works and installation, testing and commissioning. PIRE plays a larger role as an EPC Player for both On-Grid and Off-Grid solar power generation. Being driven by the focus on sustainability, reliability, values, G&B intends to enhance its presence in the sphere of Renewable Energy and will focus on various green initiatives aimed at reducing the carbon footprint. PIRE has unique rooftop solar power solutions for infrastructure, commercial and industrial customers in cities across PAN India to lower their energy cost and meet their greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets. PIRE also undertakes power quality improvement projects, smart grids, SCADA systems and distribution reform projects across the country under various schemes launched by the Ministry of Power / Rural Electricity Corporation. Continuous improvements in quality of work and safety are highlights of PIRE's success in such projects. We have electrified more than 10000 Villages and provided electrical connections to more than 2 Lakh families across the Country. We have received an award of excellence in the year 2018-2019 for work done in the BRGF project for providing electricity to 2358 habitations of rural Bihar in record time. It was presented to Mr. R.A Mirji, Head – PIRE Business by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar, in the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sushil Modi, Hon’ble Energy Secretary of Bihar & CMD of Bihar Electricity Board, Mr. Pratyaya Amrit and other higher officials of the Bihar Electricity Board. In the Renewable Space, we have been awarded the “Best Solar Rooftop EPC company” for the year 2018 by EQ International under the category of EPC Segment for the State of Maharashtra and “Solar Project Innovation of the Year - Engineering company” in EQ’s PV Invest Tech Solar Awards 2019. Godrej has always been a champion of environmental protection and preservation. India’s largest tract of privately owned mangroves is preserved by Godrej in Vikhroli, Mumbai. However, we realised that in order to live up to this philosophy, we would need to start impacting the design of urban structures. The first effort towards this was the support lent to the development and commissioning of the first LEED Platinum rated building in India, the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre at Hyderabad in 2004.

Today, we have a dedicated team of 60 experienced professionals to provide green building design consultancy in sync with the client’s project objectives.

We have experience across consulting projects as diverse as residential spaces, office buildings, mall, hotels, schools, colleges, government buildings and so on. More than 200 such projects have been Certified / Pre-certified, of which over 60 are Platinum rated projects and 100 are Gold rated projects.

We bring holistic, feasible, timely, cost-effective solutions to the table so that our clients can benefit from lowered ongoing consumption of water and conventional energy resources, refreshing and healthy environment for occupants and compliance with international green building standards.
