Mr. Jamshyd N. Godrej is the Chairman & Managing Director of the Company. Mr. Godrej joined the Board on 7th October, 1974. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA.

Mr. Godrej is the Founding Trustee of Ananta Aspen Centre (previously known as Aspen Institute India), Chairman & Founding Trustee of Ananta Centre. He is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation, India Resources Trust and Council on Energy, Environment and Water. He is a Director of World Resources Institute, USA. He is a Trustee of World Wide Fund for Nature – India. He is also a Global Trustee of the Asia Society, USA. He is the Past President of Confederation of Indian Industry and also the Past President of the Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association.

Mr. Godrej is the Chairman of the CII Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre. The Centre is housed in a LEED Platinum demonstration building which is the first green building in India and the greenest building in the world at the time when it was rated. The Green Business Centre is a Centre of Excellence for green buildings, energy efficiency, energy conservation, non-conventional energy sources, water policy, water conservation, etc.

The Company manufactures and markets refrigerators; washing machines; air conditioners; office furniture; home furniture; security equipment for banks (such as safes, strong room doors, bank lockers, etc.) and for commercial establishments and homes; locks and latches, forklift trucks and warehousing equipment; process equipment for chemical, petrochemical, refineries and allied industries; precision tools for sheet metal, zinc, aluminium; real estate development.

The Godrej group are leaders in home appliances, consumer durables, office equipment, industrial products, consumer products and services.

Mr. Godrej is an ardent yachting enthusiast and has done extensive cruising along the west coast of India, the Baltic & North Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean Sea.

The President of India conferred on Mr. Godrej the “Padma Bhushan” on 3rd April 2003.

Freyan Crishna Bieri graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Political Science. She then studied Interior Architecture at ‘The Inchbald School of Design’. She has worked at Hindustan Levers Limited (now Hindustan Uniliver Limited) and Godrej Agrovet Limited in the HR Department. In 2004, she joined Nozer Wadia Associates, a prestigious Architecture and Interior Design firm in Mumbai. She has worked on various multifaceted residential properties and yachts and is constantly looking to evolve best practices in creating and producing furniture and objects with a purpose. She is an avid traveller, art collector and design enthusiast.

Mrs. Nyrika Holkar is Executive Director of the Company. Mrs. Holkar joined the Board on 1st April, 2017. She graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Philosophy and Economics from Colorado College, USA and obtained LL.B and LL.M degrees from University College London, UK. She is a member of the Bar Association of India and is a qualified Solicitor in the United Kingdom. She leads Digital Strategy, Brand, Legal and M&A of the Company and its subsidiaries.

In this capacity, she drives a company-wide strategy on building new digital interventions through online platforms and ecosystems to help improve customer experience, foster collaborative innovation, and enhance data-led decision making in business. A qualified solicitor, Mrs. Holkar is responsible for the Company's global legal strategy including supervising commercial contracts, structuring M&A transactions as well as the protection and enhancement of the organisation's intellectual property across its 14 businesses. As the Brand Custodian, she works closely with the Sustainability, Marketing and Communication teams across the Company with a focus on building a responsible corporate brand.

As a member of the Board of Directors she is also involved with key decisions related to business strategy, talent management and corporate governance. During her tenure as Executive Director, Mrs. Holkar has helped significantly reduce the Company’s Group's financial exposure by streamlining the negotiation and contract management process through an end-to-end digitised contract life cycle management platform. She is also a Director on the Board of Godrej Infotech Limited, a subsidiary of the Company and is involved in key decisions with regard to IT security and technology platforms across the Group and is working to enhance the Company’s partnership with startups and technology partners to improve the digital ecosystem for the Company businesses.

Mrs. Holkar began her career at legal firm AZB & Partners where she specialised in M&A transactions and advised foreign companies seeking to invest in India before joining the Company. She is an ardent supporter of the environment. As Chairperson of the Company’s CSR Committee, Mrs. Holkar is actively involved in the Company’s community development efforts including education, skilling and the preservation and protection of Mumbai's mangroves. Trekking and Wildlife are some of her abiding interests beyond work. She is a fellow of the Ananta Aspen Institute and is a member on the Boards of the Centre for the Advancement of Philanthropy. She is married and lives in Mumbai with her husband Yeshwant and her kids.

Anil G. Verma, works as the Executive Director & Chief Executive Officer of Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. In his current role, he oversees Godrej operations in India and abroad which includes 12000+ employees and 30+ establishments.

Anil has worked for over 30 years in diverse functions including Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Human Resources and as a Business Head in his career at Godrej.

Anil is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, BHU; the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and the Sloan School of Management, MIT, USA, where he did an Executive Leadership program.

Under Anil's leadership, Godrej & Boyce and its business units have received a plethora of recognitions over the years, including the NASEOH Award as well as the Hellen Keller Award for the ‘Best Employer’ for the differently abled. Furthermore, five of the G&B Businesses have been awarded the CII Exim Bank Excellence Award which makes them role model organizations.

Anil serves on the Board of Directors of Godrej Infotech Limited and is the Chairman, Board of Directors at Godrej Koerber, which is a JV between Godrej and the Koerber group of Germany.

Anil is an Executive Committee Member of the Employers' Federation of India (EFL), Member of the Advisory Committee of the CII Institute of Quality, Chairman of the CII National Taskforce on Industrial Safety, Governor on the Board of the National Safety Council of India (NSCI), Member of the CII Western Region Executive Committee and has been on the Advisory Council for Superbrands.

Anil is a recipient of the RMI Roll of Honour for Life-time achievement in HR at the National HR Conclave HR 2.0 in 2010 and also recognized with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Apex Organization of IIT BHU alumni, in its centenary year.

Anil joined Godrej in 1983 and has been on the Board since 1st October 2008.

Mr. Navroze Godrej is the Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Godrej joined the Board on 6th November, 2017. Earlier from May, 2010 to September, 2016, he served on the Board as an Executive Director. He holds a Master of Design degree from the IIT Institute of Design, Chicago.

A designer by profession, Mr. Godrej firmly believes that strategic design should pervade every aspect of a business, if it is to deliver products and services of the greatest value to the community. This is his vision for the Company.

A die-hard champion of innovation across the Company driven by a belief that the innovation process can be used for identifying hidden and leveraging opportunities which can lead to solutions that ameliorate the lives of people in unforeseeable ways. This led to the initiative to set up the Innovation Centre at the Company. The centre implements Disruptive Innovation and Human-Centred Design and works with a diverse set of employees from various businesses the Company to imbibe a culture of innovation at a grassroots level.

Mr. Kavas Petigara is an Independent Director and joined the Board on 29th September, 1988. Mr. Petigara completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Chemical Engineering, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA.

Mr. Petigara is the Managing Partner of Scitech Corporation. He is a chemical consultant and a businessman and has been associated with chemical and allied business activities in India and abroad for many years. He also served on the Boards of Godrej Industries Limited, Godrej Agrovet Limited, Creamline Dairy Products Limited, Vora Soaps Limited and Swadeshi Detergents Limited.

Mr. Pradip Shah is an Independent Director and joined the Board on 10th August, 2004. Mr. Shah holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Bombay. He is a qualified Cost Accountant and ranked first in India in the Chartered Accountancy examinations.

He founded IndAsia, a corporate finance and private equity advisory business, in April 1998. Prior to IndAsia, he helped establish the Indocean Fund in 1994, and was the founder Managing Director of The Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL), India’s first and largest credit rating agency.

He is currently Chairman of Sonata Software Limited and a Director of BASF (India) Limited and Pfizer Limited amongst other companies. He has given talks in India, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and the United States on credit rating, housing finance, capital markets, venture capital and other subjects.

Mrs. Anita Ramachandran is an Independent Director and joined the Board on 28th April, 2007. Mrs. Ramachandran is an MBA from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai and has won several academic honours. She was a Dorab Tata scholar for 6 years.

Mrs. Ramachandran founded Cerebrus Consultants, a well-known HR consulting firm in 1995, focused on consulting in Rewards management, Organization development and Strategic HR. Mrs. Ramachandran is one of the leading Human Resources Consultants in the country and is well known for her work in Compensation and HR strategy.

She earlier had a twenty-year career with A.F. Ferguson's Management Consultancy division, where she was a Director. She writes often in several business and professional magazines. She has been a champion of various women's causes.

Mr. Keki Elavia is an Independent Director and joined the Board on 1st May, 2012. Mr. Elavia is a Chartered Accountant in Public Practice. He serves as a Director on the Board of various listed and unlisted companies.

He is a member of India UK Accountancy Task Force, constituted by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. He is also a Trustee of educational and medical Trusts. The Reserve Bank of India appointed Mr. Elavia as a member of the Indian Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited, where he was the Chairman of its Audit and Corporate Governance Committee.
